Homeworkopoly Homework Display

(0)
The all-new Homeworkopoly mega display. The perfect way to get your pupils completing their homework every week, or you can edit the display and make it a ‘readingopoly’ to change the focus for your classroom. After the pupils complete their homework they can roll a die and when they land on a Community Lunchbox they can do something nice, for example sitting on the teacher’s chair. If they land on Chance then they are given random tasks like teaching the class something at the end of the day. Landing on a Brain Binder will give them a riddle, or a grammar or maths questions they need to answer. All of these cards are fully editable so they can perfectly suit your class. Included in the download is a zip file with PDF versions of everything you’ll need: the board itself, a rule sheet, name pieces, the Homeworkopoly sign, Brain Binder, Community Lunchbox and Chance cards. In addition, it comes with fully-editable .pub versions and for those of you with Macs that can’t open .pubs there are also fully-editable Word documents.

AFL Levels of Understanding Posters

Ever taught a damn fine lesson - ticking off every VAK style of learning and taking your pupils to the heights of what their brains can handle, only to find out that little Timmy in the corner understood very little and instead of asking for help, sat there trying to extract the grime from under their finger nails? Well with this simple set of display posters you need never have that experience again! Simply display somewhere prominent and ask the children to show - using their fingers - their level of understanding after teaching a key concept. I use it before every independent task and that way my focus, and that of my TA can be aimed at the children that are weak in their understanding, as well as extend the pupils who can make connections to other areas of the curriculum. Dependent on your cohort, if might prove a refreshing instance of them sticking two fingers up at you without the intent to insult.

Class Birthday Calendar

A nice, simple birthday calendar for your class. As the annoying meerkat on those adverts says - ‘simples’. Plus, it’s free; job’s a good 'un. Please check out the rest of my resources, for the attempted wit in the resource descriptions if nothing else.
